I’m sure this may have been asked many times but, is there a beta of this game?

Not to be that guy but please attempt to read the other topics we have posted before asking something like that.

There's no beta/info on release yet

No. Id guess there wont be one either... more then likely there will be a higher tier package and those guys will get to play earlier. On PC they dont really beta anything. Just launch

Generally betas seem to be a waste of time, the games are usually still broken when they release. I think betas get used more as promotional "demos" instead of practical tests. In this case, I think a "pay for early access" approach would be logical from their pov.

First of all. I have read some of the other posts and it says nothing about it being released but, I’ve seen a guy on my friends list playing it the day before yesterday. This is why I asked! No need to be douchey!

It’s cool. Any ideas? I asked the guy playing but he didn’t respond. Maybe a secret invite?

No, I had the same thing happen a few months back with both WoW and BDO. I think it has to do with the person being logged into xbox live while playing a game on pc. I too msgd the person playing and he said he was playing on pc.

Yes, friends on my Xbox list. A few times it showed they were playing WoW and a few months later I saw someone else playing BDO. I was very excite!!!

But they were just on pc...

they prob keep the xbox app running on pc and it sorta detects what your playing
cos i cant remember a WoW release for xbox either

Yeah. If you sign onto xbox live on pc and play bdo it will show

Since microsofts new XBOX game thing, when you play on PC and are logged in to your microsoft account, it will show that you are playing Black Desert Online...

Believe it or not, about a year and a half ago there was a WOW add on xbox that would let you preorder for console, they even had avatar items and stuff and a preorder package... a few weeks later it was taken down and replaced with a PC version add and a statement issued saying they didnt have plans to come to console.. DK if it was some publicity hype or just a mis produced add or what. The avatar items are actually still available
