Thank you so much for the update! 

The UI look amazing even though it might not be the final version. I really hope you'll keep the Remove item button (Y). Having to drag items to trash on PC is.. well, a drag.

Also, Target locking would be great for PVE but i fear it will break PVP (inb4 no skill ranger steam roll).

I simply cant wait to hear more and looking forward to play the final version

I'm so glad that we finally received some new info, the screenshots they showed in game were awesome and really helped with the overall feel that the game is getting worked on. I hope that the target locking thing isn't a in the final release though (Ranger main here looking for fun gameplay).

I’m really happy that we finally got some information, also zerker had awakening ap so hopefully we do have awakenings at launch. But I would still like to know if they are aiming for a summer release window. And plans for e3. And prices of the game. Hopefully the controls and ui customization is the last few things they have to work on and then we’ll get the game soonish.

Each of these choices removes something from the very spirit of Black Desert, so we had to find a more creative solution to our issues. auto-targeting would be something i would have enjoyed tbh

there always was semi auto-targeting in pc version where the aimrectangle would lock onto the target yet it never took over the camera
without the accuracy of a mouse just like in pc version some skills will be very hard to land

im also curious what the contenders are type 2-9 and type 4-5
could imagine that type 2-9 is similar to pc controller controls we have now where you use LB + X|A|B|Y to access quickslots 1,2,3,4 and RB + X|A|B|Y to access 5,6,7,8
gota admit that this works pretty solid on pc and allows an actual better control over quickslots than using with keyboard

First, that guy P2W AF. LOOK AT THEM PERALS. lol. Second, glad you didnt go with tab targeting. Thatd destroy the game. This is a good start. Would like to see these weekly like PCs update weekly on whats next. Many things left unanswered. If this whole article has been finished id rather it be posted all at once then split into parts. Would love to see more of the many questions answered.

Nooo i dont expect that, but this kind of changes will make me not to consider the pc meta for choosing my class. (I think wiz/wich and warr/valk will be very nice anyway ??)

A lot of good bdo players use a controller to play BDO they should just ask them for tips on how they made it work that would help speed up the things since they stuck on it

Yes, all looks really nice and I hope a lot of the stuff the Console team is working on gets implemented in the PC version aswell, anyone that uses a controller on PC would love this. The UI changes look really nice for PC aswell.

Havent met anyone good that use a controller lol. Guess we might have different versions of good. But i used one earlier on and quickly realized id never keep up. You make it work by keying buttons to work together. Alot like ESO synergy's. So RT and X or X and Y etc etc. But it only works well with hotkeyed skills or classes that dont require alot of skills. Also hotkeyed skills burn your resources so. Its the lack of fluid motion with controller that kills you most though.

It needs to be. I know when eso launched console they added a “game pad mode” that almost mimicked the xbox ui so could be something we see in the future.

Thankyou so much for getting this out to us Simon, seeing how the team is shaping the game looks really interesting. Any hints as to the people or part of the games development we'll get to see next?
