Dear BDO community this post will not only be used to help answer the question of free to play or not but to also brainstorm ideas for GOOD pre-order bonuses instead of the usual skins and weapons that you will use for about half a second in most mmo rpg's if it isn't free to play of course. 

My idea for a good pre-order bonuse is giving people 3 things (assuming there isn't like a super deluxe ultimate gold edition or some bull like that) 

item 1: 1 token to re-customize there chatecter because I think we can all agree that it can be a bit overwhelming the first time you use it. 

item 2: a small amount of premium currency (not enough to buy xp boosting items or pets but enough for at least one skin of there choosing)

item 3: this would be a joke item and helpful item at the same time. Give people 10 fiscal fail stacks in there mail with a note saying good luck your going to need it...literally.

It won't be free, as for pre-order I hope it's the same as the PC ($100 edition) I still use that skin to this day it is extremely exclusive

No one will care about your skin if you laying dead tho

on the topic, I can see some beginner packages but I dont think itll be anything exclusive.

id expect discounted vp/inventory/weight/one pet atleast in the basic package.

Maybe a more expensive one withthe base + extras like a T6 horse + 30 day flute and title like "founder" or if you were in beta "elite analyzer" (please make it happen)"

I dont think they made exclusive xbox costumes.. althought it could be cool. Imagine an x shape symbol on your back and front and make it bright green and color locked.

I think it'll be close to the pc as well. 

t5 horse, horse flute, exclusive costume and weapon skin, some furniture, some pearls,  a pet or two, and a head start in the premium package

t3 horse, horse flute, exclusive weapon skin (but no costume) some furniture (but less) some pearls (but less) 1 pet and a head start in the mid package

some peals and a head start in the intro package

those are my predictions

I'd expect it to be the same as PC version but the thought of a exclusive symbol that you only can get via pre-order on a outfit makes me want the game even more but than again I'm happy with any outfit that's limited and cant be gained no more as it represents dedication especially for long term players and pay 2 look good like me ?? and not for "this game's ****, I cant kill no one, ou! a new game lets buy it and than drop it after 3 days''
