As a new player to Black Desert what can i do to prep for awakening. I over saw somones thread about saving stuff that you will need when awakening comes out such as enhancments stones and accessories that can be melted in shards.

What should i be doing to prepare for awaking besides gearing up. What accessories do i save for melting into shards in the future and etc? I want to make sure that i use my preawakening time to the best that i can so when awakening releases i will be good to go.

Google meltable accessories BDO and you will get plenty of info.

Certain acc can be melted for sharp and hard shards. From all these yielding shards you want to keep witch’s earrings as TRI witch’s will be items of choice before Tungrads become available later on. Other than that I would stack and melt everything else.

Want to prepare for awakening of the class you play now ? Get duo/tri armor. Kzarka and offhand to tri. Asula set. The rest you can get once Valencia is released (yellow accessories).

That's horrible advice, considering those Accessories will likely be more expensive than just preordering on MP ATM. Melting is only good when the price drops due to some event (maybe the Easter PT 2..) or when you are in real rush, otherwise it's better to just chop trees and preorder. Also consider we might get Night Vendor in few weeks, which means much more Hards and Sharps willbecome easily available on MP.

What you want to do to prep is just to grind, get as many Skill Points as possible to begin with, then stock money, Sharps for the Awa Weapons. Also get Memory Fragments for eventual Boss Gear and level up to at least 59, or even 60 if you can make it. Other than that, get your Accessories up, Armor up etc :). Just play the game in summary, everything you do moves you forward and gets you more ready.

You won't make it in Valencia W/O Proper AP. Also don't expect people to be rocking Basilisk Belts or Tungrad Earrings any time soon. Crescents will also take long time to drop in price and be available, not even speaking about need of AP for those Boss Fights if you want good chance of drops. You can always sell the Accs later, but it's definitely not a waste to get some DUO/TRIs

i give it one month max before we start seeing fine accessory boxes, or Lauren boxes once Valencia hits, that will pump the economy full of accessories. I promise you it wont take them long they have to get the players Kamasylve ready or you think the PvE server cry babies are bad now, just wait till "why did you release content that 1 shots everyone" "cant grind kamasylve - too hard" "mobs do so much damage at night in Kamasylve" "I don't have enough damage for anything east of kamasylve"... just to name a few future titles you soon will be seeing on general discussion.

Oh i don't think that i'll be anytime soon TBH and even if so, the price of Crescents will likely be ~50 mil to begin with and they are supposedly harder to enchant so getting pair of TRI MOS now is not going to be bad choise even in forseeable future. Valencia is like ~1 month away, then maybe ~1 month for such accessory boxes, that's already 2 Months of lower Grinding power = less money just cause one wanted to wait for the BiS stuff. IDK, maybe i'm wrong, but i think that in those 2 months you'd lose much more than you'd make with higher AP at least if you grind a lot. OFC that's not the same for lifeskillers that can just afford to lay back.

Ahh but you aren't thinking they whole picture though. Yes, while crescents will start on valencia's release at 50mil, do you not remember the market shock once they started the fine accessory boxes? 700 tungrad earrings sat on the market for 49mil a piece, 1,000 ogre rings just sitting for 70-80 mil. why? because people want money not accessories, because yellow accessories scare new players so they see big money and sell to buy that side grade item. Sure it's a small boost but it wasn't worth the money. And I honestly think you over estimate Valencia Part 1 (which is what is coming first - might want to do a quick google search for that or click here ). The grind spots are decent making 5 - 12 mil an hour on trash loot, the Serap necklace starting at around 30-40 mil will crash, yellow crystals will sit on the market because most are to afraid to put in a 3-5mil crystal that will break when they go die at kzarka, or nouver, kutum, maybe even karanda. Scrolls written in a ancient language will be around 2-3mil a piece, and most will try to sell them, but the clever ones wont because they know that the plia fa scroll drops the best memory fragment chance, but most wont have the money to spend 3 mil per piece or 15mil per scroll, when prices of memory fragments are still cheaper, because most people only have a piece of boss gear maybe 2 by this point. 

Pearl abyss wants to accelerate xbox version so I promise you we will get hounded with these boxes, loot scrolls, anything they can to basically hand gear out, to get us ready for Kamasylve, Drieghan, that water temple, the New region next to Dreighan. Pearl Abyss is going to do just about anything to get us 260+ AP asap. They can't just out right come out and say it, because that would be bad business. But they just want us caught up to PC, so the Executive Producer's promise of "one world" Black Desert can happen. Everyone get's the content at the same time (look at archer). Notice PC hasn't received that new region yet? We haven't had a new class announced yet? All because they are pushing a LOT of resources into BD Mobile and BD xbox while they get it caught up to make this big grand entrance with new content universal.

You are sure free to your opinion, but i highly doubt what you are saying. So far the gear handouts are extremely scarse, with the Easter Event being the very first one where we even see any half-decent gear is part of the drop-list. They are going to push Kama for sure, it being part of the list for this Quarter, but it still does contain plenty of low gear places too. I sincerely doubt they even forsee us grinding Manshaums or Gyffin Temple any time soon. They even with-held content like CP meals, Accessory melting etc to allow newbies to catch up and enjoy the game, same for Awakening. I don't believe they will just start throwing free accessories around to no end. Furthermore there are plenty of ppl who came from PC and will not even let the market drop the price of the BiS Gear. I don't see us getting 1000 Ogre Rings for 70 Mil Any Time Soon. On contrary the Accessories as whole are getting more and more expensive and undoubtedly will be out of reach for most over first few months. 

And again - Yes you do make lot of money in Valencia, but only if you have a gear for it. If you don't invest in Blue Accessories now, you will be making petty cash and just left hoping that one day you will get that BiS stuff cheap, while the other people make bilions in meantime. 

Xbox and PC are whole different game by the way and while they will  eventually want us to catch up, i highly doubt it will be any time soon aka in year maybe.

That's exactly how it was on PC, until the Valencia PT1 patch we didn't get attendance rewards we didn't have really any hand outs minus a "golden" event or two maybe a weekend a month "play your way" to get sharps and hards and relics from fishing, Valencia PT1 changes everything. Yes Kama is coming first and they are not wanting us at Gyfin day one, but they do want Fadus, and Polly Forest used. They are with holding stuff for the beginning to give these poor new players some breath of having a chance but Valencia changes everything. 

I think the point you are neglecting to look and understand is you probably assuming all these "whales" are sitting on billion from all the costume selling, you think all these players are just sitting on half a bil waiting for some big thing to hit. PA isn't dumb if they release night vendor before Valencia they will drain a lot of these impatient people of their money quickly with 300-500 mil boss items, draining some of the spending power of the player. That first fine accessory box i remember well. I saved up a billion and made my first DUO Laytenn Necklace. Then a few days later just seeing all the accessories just sitting that i was panic buying that first night. 

I know all the valenica PT1 grind spots well, not one of them with 170- 210 AP will make any one a billionaire. Sure Gahaz is ok money, Bashisms is crap EXP and money, Nagas is ok depending on the drop rates it releases with, Fogans is Meh depending on its state of drop rates, Basi's well, have fun if you don't value you life/time Centuarus unless softcap wont make anything for money. If my memory serves me correct Fogans, Nagas, and Ghahaz are all rated for about 150 AP uncapped. So sure the ones who have TRI Kzarka's with asula are sitting at 187AP, easy enough to kill them all efficient, but if we get awakenings then they be decent money. not amazing, just decent.

Well they have been pretty clear its kamasylve, like Mediah, one big patch. Valenica is the only region they have split and said its "part 1" which means no Plia Ku Jail and Sulfer mines, No bandit tag (sending people to jail) etc. 

Im all for whales supporting the servers, thank you and please keep at it. Personally I'm not going to waste much on blue gear, I know i can kill everything but Centaurs, and Basiliks with 187 AP pretty easy. So i am going to be sitting on big pile of money for those accessory days. 

Actually Gahaz is till better exp with Marnie stones, if we get current fogans from PC they are only worth getting S knowledge and moving on. 

Im broke af sitting on all duo with tri wep, i for one am looking forward for awakening. Gear will come with time. I'v been on a break for a few weeks, sure it would be nice to have loads of money and top end gear but really what's the rush. Eventually the market will be stocked enough to buy everything you need. If you don't have the money now then rip, just grind for it.
