The remaster update shows us the potential of PA and its focus and dedication for this brand. From what we know PA has been working hard on the upcoming drastic changes to the games graphic, sound, story and new content. According to the video above, we can see that theres implementation of the (originally?) Xbox status bar into the pc version. We are were even briefly intreduced to the new male ranger class.
You can basically call this update - "Black desert 2"
Now, does this information has anything to do with the xbox release? I believe so, and heres why:
It was hinted at the 3rd dev note that they are working on the story - "The biggest piece of the remaining work is to recreate the story of the game."
And at the 5th dev with the sound rework - "Audio Remaster which will be making its way to the Xbox Version of the game. "
Both subjects are infact part of the remaster update coming to the PC and that means that A LOT of resources went into this, resources that might have been diverted from the xbox release. Its also plausible that they want to release the remaster version on xbox's vanilla.
Is it worth the wait? Imo, heck yeah.
Even if we wont get it immediately, we will at some point and im okay woth that.
My point is that the delay is understandable and we should all appreciate the chance we'll have to enjoy this game.
Cheers

It was announced a year ago that Xbox will get remaster at launch. They have been working with the remaster on Xbox not the older graphics and stuff. We’ve basically been waiting for remaster to be done for our game. But they should have said this to us instead of being silent.
If it gets pushed again there's no understanding
I don’t think so, as a Korean I’ve read news about why this is being delayed, they said it’s all about remaking UI for xbox, and the game is already playable. I never believe what they said, I know Korean company, this delay must be technical issue, they still can’t fix frame drop in game how good PC you have, and so many other issue, this all come from engine made by themselves, they could buy existing certified engines like unreal, but they didn’t. I never think they can make things right with their engines that looks good but with so many issues. I bet we have to wait for another year. Or, we can’t play this on xbox ever.

When you say "date" do you mean "window" / "quarter" ? Or did they announce a date?

No they never announced a date for anything, just release windows.
From what i understand, getting something to run on our engine means it will be applicable to both versions of the game. Adding the remastered graphics for the PC version, means those tools are then available for the Xbox version.
