This item has to be put into the game as a rare drop from slaying monsters in PvE
As a timed event for killing players during war or bf for PvP
As a rare item from gathering/fishing
And as reward for producing 10.000+ items with cooking or alchemy (amount can be anywhere from 10.000 to 100.000)
By adding a pearl tag to it, PA once again misses a great chance to promote extra game play for $.
Please send this feedback over. It is high time to move away from loot boxes (with % chance posted) and embrace actual (further) promotion via game play
Actually love your ideas, but they need a way to make money, where do you think the money for paying the CM's comes from? I am sure they make more than minimum wage in Korea or wherever they live, not to mention the DEV's and team of artists who make all the data and art for the added items, nobody works for free and if they do its usually not for long.
Please do not use these predatory models in this game. It will kill it dead. These pearl shop items are already high enough as it is. I have zero issues with buying direct, but this RNG lootbox will drive me away from the store if you attempt to make this an acceptable pay model.
10 bucks for a 6% chance at an event outfit. This is a joke.
Please don't hate me... but I rolled 10 times. After 7 the outfit is guaranteed from the vendor from the tokens. Here are my results:
1. XP Scroll
2. XP Scroll
3. Witch Hat Charlotte
4. Artisan's Memories
5. Inventory Expansion
6. Artisan's Memories
7. Artisan's Memories
8. Kanpacho's Chewable
9. Skeleton Horse Skin
10. Inventory Expansion
Bonus Roll: After buying the Bloody Outfit that left me with 3 tokens and you need 4 to redeem for anything other than Valks so I rolled one more time
11. Witch Hat Charlotte
Welcome to PA & BDO. It's amazing how many times I've thought to myself throughout the last 8 months or so that PA surely must run out of ideas at some point to milk the playerbase. To my surprise they just keep coming & coming.
After spending a fair bit of cash in the first 4 months or so on various things i haven't really spent anything significant other than a monthly value pack & some additional weight in the recent months. I don't even use costumes anymore because my +2 movement speed free costume is better than most of the fancy costumes you pay for.
I would personally love Sony/Microsoft to intervene and force this company to move away from the PC model. I mean in all honesty at least PC players had 3 years or so worth of gaming before PA went full throttle on the maximum profit at all costs business model.
70 bucks for guaranteed bloody outfit. No thanks PA. I'll keep my money.
It is just insanity and well implemented inconvenience to trigger a 10-20 § transaction. Have been playing on pc before, so i knew the waters.
This needs to stop. But for that, all of us have to put in effort and voice criticism. Even if it does not yield results immediately, do not give in!
Do not buy loot boxes
Do not buy costumes for cron stones (wait for caphras stones)
A good basis would be 20-30$ a month at max.
Train yourself . Voice criticism in a constructive way and do not give in.

I'm not going to argue against a f2p option for event items, but I'm also not against supporting a microtransactions store to support the development of a game I enjoy. I just dont believe any pay model that pushes RNG loot boxes is okay. Its extremely anti consumer and there are healthier ways of generating revenue without sticking it to the playerbase that's willing to support them.
This needs to stop
Why?
If you aren't buying the boxes and other people are, then why should PA(or any similar company) stop selling things that make them money?
Do not buy loot boxes
At what point in time do you get to tell others how to spend their money? If you don't like something then you're free to spend your money or not spend your money. If other people are fine with it and spend their money who are you to tell them to stop?
You people are decades too late. The hippie/freelove/communist style of business didn't catch on. Capitalism is the winner.

I'm not sure how how having more options for a consumer equates to anti-capitalism....
If a direct purchase option is available, it would mean more people would purchase this item because they know what they're paying for... Even the f2p players would benefit from this because the even skins could be sold in the central market for silver.
In fact, the suggestion of direct purchase embraces the capitalism idea since the consumer has more purchasing power and it would bring in more revenue since the people who wouldn't buy loot boxes would now also purchase....
Could you clarify how this is negative? I'm failing to see how anything you've posted is constructive. It just looks like you're trying to shut down a discussion just because you're getting some strange self pleasuring benefit from all your negativity.

Don't mashup my comments with your arguments.
I quoted one person saying "do not buy" etc and made a reply.
My statement was not a direct response to anything about direct buying options.
Better luck next time.
When you make a game you make the rules no one forces people to buy anything. Look at it this way this a Korean based game probably made by people that used to be in RMT front other games such as ffxi and wow they slapped a pretty cover on it to hide the fact its a cash trap. Bravo to RMT instead of them having to farm days on end for rice to feed there family you do it for them. So stop buying if you complaining about prices and just enjoy the game or quit and play hello kitty island adventure.
