Hi guys,
Just wanted to give a quick feedback regarding the optimization that was implemented on todays update.
My home city is Calpheon which runs without a hitch on the one x but has serious rendering issues on the og Xbox.
So after the patch i noticed on the og that the npc skin loads up quicker than before and they're not stuck in that default grey render where u cant interact with them.
Good job guys, keep it up.
Alchemy stones when?
Cheers
Inferno
Yeah I play on the one s and seems to be running much smoother.
Caphras stones when?
Sadly for me I noticed way more lag idk why tho inets top speed all updates are done but coming back to the game right now and I notice a lot of lag any ideas why? Or a solution to it? I'm considering as well to reinstall the game as that is the only thing I have not done thus far.
1v1 much smoother, grind in general smoother as well (at least at bashims and polly where I was leveling up my mystic last week) Xbox One X with Samsung T5 ssd.

Mm is it screen lag or an input delay??
Cause it might be either ur isp or hardwares fault.
Also, sup mc fluff
On xbox S I can not confirm a better performance. Still bad. 10% better is not enough for a game where speed and reaction are important.
PvP so far only RBF (no siege/node wars) tested and found unplayable cant see enemy only on minimap if I see iam dead. On Grind spots partly 1 second freeze frame if I pull to much mobs. In towns and cities always the gray (not the aliens) "fast" horses loading walls also in parts of the region when traveling without a horse. At the moment I'm still living with life skills but how much longer ...?

With all do respect to you and other users of S or OG xbox. You can't expect this game to run butter smooth on weak hardware.. Check the requirements for this game on PC.
The game is far from perfect on X so it's hard to believe the game will run decent on OG or S. Maybe in full optimization aka potato mode.

My job is to check the requirements on my console and not those of the pc. My pc is on the same level as my xbox s maybe even a bit worse but the performance is much better because I have more optimization options. I can downscale the shadows, I can use mass PvP with the potato mode if I want etc, etc. So it is still possible for me to use the PvP.
The graphics may look better on X but the performance MUST be the same to ensure equal opportunities. It can not be that I have game advantages just because I use a better console. Performance is king still ahead of new content. I hope they work on it.

No, the performance doesn’t need to be the same. Says who? Customers deliberately bought one X to have better performance cause the game is Xbox one X enhanced. I expect it to perform better than on S and that’s why I paid extra for it and got external ssd.
If one buys pc capable of running the game in 120fps and spends a small fortune on it then he knows the game will run worse on other, cheaper hardware no? Yes! One rig will run the game in 120fps the other in 30. Same with console. Nothing unfair about it.

Yes! Because the game is not X only.
Again, the game may look better with you but the performance should not be affected so far that it becomes unplayable. And when I talk about unplayable I mean PVP. If it stacks here and there at a grindspot it is ok for me but in PvP that means the safe dead. That's why the comparison 120 fps to 30 fps is nonsense. People buy consoles to avoid wasting money on pc hardware. 30 fps is playable compared to gamefreeze, stuttering or rendering problems. It's about the playability on all consoles and that is currently not guaranteed. If the game is offered on all consoles, it is not too much to ask for the appropriate settings. Be on the X for upgrades or accordingly on the smaller consoles for downgrades.

It's not that I don't agree with you. It's just that the hardware choice plays a huge role in such big games like bdo.
Anyway, I don't intend to argue. Long story short is that we need PC like, toggle-able potato mode which should resolve some issues.
