I'm hoping there will be some Black Dessert footage posted for GDC 2018 this week! If you do happen to catch them, please don't hesitate to comment them here!

Looking forward to see character creation, classes, and general combat footage. Also any additional news about the release (or a beta, perhaps?) would be fantastic. What do you hope to see at GDC 2018 for Black Dessert?

Zero chance. The game was delayed from q1 of this year but not canceled. Why Would they bother with this website only to cancel less then a week later?

Well if this source is reliable we can roughly narrow down "summerish" to either late May or mid-June as the expected release date window.

Hopefully this is the case I can't wait any longer I just wish to play a new console mmo.

You raise a good point about the source being reliable...to me, DualShockers typically falls in the #fakenews but in this case could be true.

and "summerish" is again so inaccurate... one says "hey, all is fine. may/june is summerish for me"

the next one "f*ck thats late, aug/sept? etc"

strictly speaking, we are still doomed to wait. summerish is same as 1Q, or first half of 2018. only a period, no real date.

The way I currently see it is that DualShockers is trying to build up hype for the game, seeing as how various details about the Xbox version have yet to be revealed. My main reasoning behind it all is that PearlAbyss said they would be the one's to give us the info regarding release, hopefully after GDC is all wrapped up they will be kind enough to give us a bread crumb or two regarding the console version.

Personally if I was Microsoft or PearlyAbyss I would be aiming to release the game around May so that it gets attention and isn't drowned out by the E3 hype that builds up in the June period. Which therefore leaves April as the time to announce all the final details and promote the game. 

Plus if you check the ID@Xbox twitter account you'll see that Black Desert is getting promoted in that which hopefully gives us an idea that Microsoft is pleased with the demo they were presented with and wants to start getting more people excited for it. 

Imo consider dualshocker as fake news. Couldnt find anything that would state their article is true. But thats only my opinion

I'd be so happy to know when pre-order/pre-download is available as would many others I expect. 

You know it would be amazing if they launched an xbox app some time before launch so we can create our characters.
