Hi, I am pretty new to fishing. Got myself a boat, and have been fishing North of velia. I only have roughly 90 inventory. I know it's bad. But I seem to only bring in 1 or 2 high end fish. 1 or 2 keys. And 1 shard per trip. Making (without selling my keys or shards) 700k to 1mil. Do I need to fish further out? I know hotspots don't show up u till later levels.

Just get your skill up so you can use better fishing rods and get some food buffs going and you should be getting more.

Don't fish myself but you should probably just fish onshore until skilled 5 I think. Then you start to see the hotspots out at sea.

There's various lifeskill buffs you can get through food, potions etc. Also use a fishing costume for more XP. 

Ince you hit prof 1 and can delete greeens you will do better for your afk side.

5 skill on profile page to speed up hooking fish. Just manually work it till you get it higher.

Fishing silver embroidered helps too. Gives skill points as do most guilds.
