Great timing for it in my opinion. 

Hopefully the full release will be either end of November or start of December.

The beta timing is spot on with Microsoft's interests.

If Microsoft Intends to have the Xbox one X on sale this upcoming black friday they could see a significant increase in sales due to BDX realesing on the same time.

Is this why were getting an Open Beta?

We did register for a closed one, otherwise there'd be no need to register to an open beta.

PA might have rushed the process to meet the black friday deadline. Does this mean we'll have a hastened product?

Or does PA intend to rush the release to cash in on some cash shop transactions from the black friday sales.

****, who know? Im fine either way as long as we'll be getting a ready to play product.

This also follows the date ranges of other releases. With the game coming out shortly after a "open beta" (read, stress test).

I hope your theory is correct because I have 11 days off in a row after thanksgiving and would love to get ahead of the curve for once by spending those 11 days playing

beta registrations were likely just go gauge player interest in the game.
