Hi, does anyone know how does AP bracket work.

Eg if i hit it only with AWK does it count while using AWK. Or is it only needed for main then counts for both. Or do you need for both?

AP and AAP intertwine with each other. The internet says that your awakening damage is calculated in the following way: 70% of AAP + 30% of AP = your total AAP. 

So, if you jump another AP bracket UP, 30% of that new bonus AP will be transferred to your awakening damage (at least that's what it is supposed to work?) How can we really tell when we don't have floating combat numbers like in other mmos.. 

Having that said, it is a general rule that you upgrade awakening before main hand but you should get them at the equal level ASAP so you don't limit your damage by slacking main hand. Also, the first PEN item you should work on is your dandelion as well. 

In standard AP build, with items that we have available, your AAP should be 2 points higher than your AP (in my case with tet kzarka and tet dande my ap is 241 and my aap is 243). 

If there is a class that spends a lot of time in preawakening stance then I think this can be an exception to go kzarka over dande but I don't know which class it would be cause I play mystic and striker and most of their damage come from their awakening kit and preawakening is mostly protection and cc.

It's simple. Brackets apply only to sheet AP. If you are in pre-awakened form, then your AP from that is applied to Brackets. If you are in Awakened form, your sheet AP from your Awakened weapon is applied. 

Represent thresholds for your character's main hand Attack Power (AP).
Reaching a specific AP bracket unlocks a bonus amount of AP.
This bonus AP applies only to your main hand damage, not necessarily Awakening Weapon.
