I am a new player on Playstation Console (will moved to PS5 once the stock is available).

I have been playing for 2 weeks and loving it so far. The system, the mechanic, the character creation, the environment, all brilliant.

I have not reached to the point I can participate in PVP or any kind of War.
That is why I would like to ask regarding the ping or latency for Indonesian player playing in Asia Server.

Is there any issue with high ping, delay or lag from player based on Indonesia ISP?
This is vital issue since it will affect the PVP and Wars.

You should play on the asians servers for sure being in the same time zone.

Dont do it, pvp on console is horrible i suggest you dont spend any money on this game just lifeskill and PVE until console release a new and better MMO hopefully new world gets released on console

Once you get the PS5 you will be playing the game with hardly any issues and Xbox one/PS4 suffer from CPU issues with them not having enough! That said, I do not get lag or connection issues but desync is still a problem even when running an Xbox Series x and also having a 1TB business connection installed due to a large household, each box is wired and receives over600m download constant at console but latency/ping/upload speeds best available in the UK and playing on EU servers, I’m guessing desync is always going to be a problem in PvP!

Great game but with many flaws..

You speak what you not know of ... 1 desync shouldn't be a thing don't settle for crap they feed you 2 ps5 doesn't fix a broken game if anything long term on ps5 shows you how much flaws console version has right now ... speak for xbox and xbox alone all my ps5 friends feel the same way and its atleast 20 of us

I don’t accept anything unless it’s understandable, coherent and factual!

Played since launch on Xbox, witnessed hundreds of players leave for many reasons from four guilds that reach max capacity and end up with just a few players remaining!

Second to that I only play for an hour or so each week to pick up dailies and stay loyal to the guild I’m in with the few friends left in the game and that’s the only loyalty I have in regards to this game, I also don’t spend the thousands I used to and won’t buy another PA IP for the sole reason and that as a 50y guy that worked hard for what I have, I understand that a service is only as good as it’s provider and the provider is only as good as it’s retention!

I sink my hours and cash into Destiny 2 and ESO now, two games that have what I’m looking for in that cash equates to fun and progression is rewarded by effort and not a dice roll, PvP isn’t governed by how much cash you throw at the game and balanced constantly to the point we feel the difference and may I add; ESO large scale PvP is far better than BDO for many reasons, it’s just a shame that BDO currently has one of the best fighting systems in an mmo but all the aforementioned reasons and more supersede that fact and ruin what entices players in and thus deters them en mass!

Please don’t think I’m a fan boy, I just wish this game stopped milking and gave more back and just play every now and then as I’m hopeful for change!

I will however defend what’s right and most certainly point my finger at what is wrong!

New World end game became a meme in like 2 weeks, not sure why you'd want it on console. 

there are a few mmo on console that have decent PvP if a new player is thinking of primarily playing PvP it’s probably not a good idea to sink time and money into atm, so, 

to any reading that likes PvP 1v1 or small scale may I suggest these games that maybe what your looking for in regards to fighting/RPG !

Chivalry 2

Ryse: son of Rome

DCUO

ESO

FFXIV

For Honour

All the above have balanced PvP from 1v1 to large scale where skill dictates over gear score, the mmo variants DCUO, FFXIV have gear specifically for PvP and obtained through PvP with match making to further balance, but, they also have faction, guild wars also!

Mass scale you can’t go wrong with chivalry 2 and it’s medievil setting and it’s a whole lot of fun!

Dark souls 3 is an absolute gem if you like build diversity with balance!

Some of these games do have an upper hand in regards to gear but only marginal and with time spent you actually retain the ability to craft armours and the many sets on offer for any and all meta changes!

All these mentioned have similar fighting styles, small scale large scale etc and a couple of honourable mentions are:
