My guild is full of pvx players, but sailing and great ocean activities are something we never really got into. After a long day of grinding and losing a close NW, our GM offered to take about 7 of us on a little trip to Port Ratt. I brought my master hunting rifle just in case and a fishing rod. The ride was long and boring until we saw our first sea monster. We only had two cannons at the time, but we attempted to take it on. After we shot it one time it rushed the ship and did some damage. My GM was ordering us around like a real ship captain and we all started saying stuff like arrrgh and oh captain my captain. We tussled with the monster for like 5 minutes cause ngl the aim was not with us, but we got it. Moments after a ghost ship appeared and swiftly destroyed our damaged ship. Swimming in the middle of the great ocean my GM said it was an honor serving with us when he realised his stamina was low. Luckily another guild arrived on a frigate and offered us help. We soon realised they were heavy into roleplay and captured us. Long story short they forced us to take off our outfits as a declaration of surrender and they dropped us off at Port Ratt. I’ve never had more fun in a game before and it’s something I know I will never forget.
