Senator Hawley has a bill hes introduced to the lawmakers that will ban loot boxes and micro transactions from existing and all new games. Its being voted on so its not taking effect yet but when it does i wonder what bdo will look like after it does take effect. This will take out all Pearl shop items cosmetic or not pearls will be gone according to the bill. I can't wait, i play bdo and will continue but im hoping they do get hit with this bill, im tired of only having 52 inventory slots and the only way to get more is pay real money for. Same with pets and weight limits, can't find them on central market so can't say you can get them without paying, lies someone had to pay real money, that is scummy marketing.

A bill introduced by Senator Hawley would prohibit microtransactions and loot boxes in all new and existing games. Since it is still up for vote, it hasn't gone into effect yet, but I'm curious to see what BDO will look like when it does. All Pearl Shop merchandise, whether cosmetic or not, will be removed in accordance with the bill. I'm eager to play BDO and will keep doing so, but I'm hopeful that this bill will be implemented because I'm sick of having just 52 inventory slots and the fact that the only way to obtain more is to pay real money.

The new microtransaction bill could help protect players from unfair spending in games. It’s good to see steps toward making games more fair. Hopefully, it will make games better for everyone.
