As I'm one of the unlucky ones who can't get past the error issue and play even after trying the workarounds I have a few questions.

How's the performance on a standard PS4, any heavy lag and or graphical issues?

How's it feel on the controller, are you able to track a single target easily and navigate easily?

How do skill combos feel on the controller, are they awkward to cast?

How does it look graphically as you run around on standard PS4?

Any major issues/bugs popping up?

Are you enjoying it?

The performance is mediocre, although it's still better than I thought it will be. There is no lag, but the fps is on the lower side - around 20 fps during fights. No major graphical issues, although some textures will take a bit of time to load.

It feels nice and relaxing, there is no problem with tracking targets and navigating. Still - it's certainly way less precise and responsive than keyboard + mouse and you cannot do a quick horizontal 180% rotation, which makes the pvp a completely different experience.

Nope, they're good after getting used to it.

Depends if the area managed to fully load or not. Textures are taking some time to load. After loading up, the game is looking quite nice. When it comes to graphics, my biggest gripe are the skills animations. From what I saw, when people play on PS4 pro, the animations are looking almost the same as on PC. But when I play my Witch on standard PS4 and cast Magic Missiles, the animation is very pixelated and low quality. But I guess that change was needed to keep the performance in check.

Not really, no. I had some minor bugs with central marketplace not responding, the skill animations are wonky, sometimes textures are taking time to load up and the game looks a bit off due to that, but other than that - it's a great beta. The game seems ready for release. Ah, and my console is running very loud when playing the game, which gets annoying when I'm not wearing the headset.

I am enjoying it, but at the same time I'm kind of regretting the fact that I don't have a PS4 pro. Black Desert Online is well known for it's phemonal visuals and even though the game looks just fine on normal Play Station 4, it seems a bit far away from PS4 Pro and certainly far away from PC graphics. But I don't feel like buying a new console when PS5 will be released in around two years, so I guess I will try to make it through.

You can do a 180 flip by pressing R3 twice infight.

besides quite minor bugs such as interacting to objects, farming, and talking with NPCs, everything is normal till the graphics. I know this is beta, and of course we may expect some issues like these  but whatever you do, don't make any pixelish or 1d animation stuff in the game when you are going to release it on 20 August because I bought Ultimate Edition and I want to receive every beautiful things when I play the game. This game has very different features besides other games on Ps4 and you should know that even we had a huge Sony's store fault on 9 August, you should not get any bad arguments for it. Please be sure to have a prepared major graphics update on launch for both standard and pro Ps4's.
