It's not just npc in town nothing like trying to grind and being beat on by invisible mobs not rendering.

And they its not going to repair it or this Gen of consoles don't support the game requeriment?

I am not main English talker so I am out of the news and what they is doing for the game, I don't follow fóruns or comment here. I just came because have months of the release on Xbox and seem they is doing nothing for this and ppl is playing like this problem is just with me hehehe

It matters cause the game is very demanding resource wise. But please, by all means, continue to be ignorant.

Yeah there is for sure some rendering issues since the last patch. Better than the lag yesterday. But I'm hitting alot of render walls while pathing, mobs taking their time to drop the loot, have to double back usually. NPC's are a nightmare.

What I was trying to tell you is the fact that all the questions I've asked matter. Let's take my setup as an example:

- Xbox One X, external SSD, wired 120Mb/s connection - I have no rendering or lag problems.

This seems to be the big fix to combat the lag for those players who play on older Xbox consoles.

Playing on one X I've noticed it today since the patch. I've ran through places like Basilisks cave and haven't seen any mobs until I park my horse up the stairs on the cliff. Normally all the mobs would be there already. Also noticed when riding by NPC's out in the world they're always just black. Haven't tested any other areas yet.

I would imagine it's even slower loading times on the older consoles. So all they've really done is put a band aid fix on the problem & replaced one problem with another. I think because the NPC's have a delay on them now what you are experiencing is a constant build up mobs that aren't fully rendered on your screen for X amount of seconds. Although this appears to have reduced the visual lag, all it's really done is redirect the workload so that is drip feeds your console now opposed to having everything on the screen trying to render at the same time.

To be honest mate if they're going to bring a game out for the older Xbox they should be making sure that the game is designed to meet the demands of that console first not the one X with a SSD. It's really not cool bring a game out that runs fine at thecstart, knowing that 6 months down the line it's not going to be playable for a huge % of the population. More so with the sheer amount of money they must have made so far with the cash shop for those players.

On the flip side us players who own the one X are going to have an inferior experience if they go down that route. What they should be doing is making more options available in menu settings, similar to what you would expect of a PC game with options to turn off shadows, reflections, particle density, spell effects, combat text etc. It's blatantly obvious that it's an issue with the demands put on the console, so if they truly want to fix it they need to make these options available to players. I mean there's still a lot of content to come and it's only going to get worse if they don't come up with a proper fix.

Now that I have installed latest “fix” patch my game is unplayable and I see what you mean.  It literally ruined everything for me. I’ve never experienced invisible wall until today. Devs clearly don’t know what they are doing. They are fixing issues for OG Xbox and ruining it for Xbox one x.

WHY?

Im just hitting areas that dont load and mobs that pop in around me or disappear as i attack them re appearing to side of me. Also getting a memory error that pops up on my screen now then game freezes and closes down

Not that it really matters I'm on a 1x with ssd and gigabit speed with latency of 15 or lower

Doesnt matter how intensive this game is resource wise the delayed rendering fix they have implemented is complete bogus.

This was designed as an xbox one game and thus should be playable by og xbox one users not just the 1x with ssd users. So  please stop calling people ignorant if they refuse to answer your questions. At the end of the day you're not PA or microsoft so you shouldnt advocate that this game should only run on a 1x and ssd

As demanding as it may be, the purpose of having a GAMING CONSOLE is to get on it and play your games, not everyone is aware of all the spec details they use to play but when the same specs work fine with other games, you can tell there is an issue that must be addressed so, as Exisilium said, everyone on the console the game is advertised on can play it satisfactorily.

Thing is simple. Don’t expect smooth bdx on OG Xbox, probably on the S either. It’s the same as if you wanted to run bdo on low end PC..

This is not should a dev thought.

BDO Can run smooth on Xbox, ofc the some unstable things could happen, but not has is doing, it's almost unplayable.

And I have tried play on my low notebook in low settings, I risk to say I could play better there
