Yar has taken the Black Desert world by storm and the GMs want to show just how good they are at Yar! Face off against the GMs during the event period for a chance to win a Value Pack! Also during the event period, show off that you obtained the fabled 5-of-a-kind hand to earn an Arcana of Fate Box!
Event I - Yar with the GMs
Event Period
NA: After the March 15th Maintenance ~ Before the March 29th Maintenance (PDT)
EU: After the March 16th Maintenance (UTC) ~ Before the March 30th Maintenance (UTC+1)
ASIA: After the March 16th Maintenance ~ Before the March 30th Maintenance (GMT+9)
Event Details
- During the event period, GMs will appear in the world of Black Desert to challenge Adventurers at Yar!
- If you defeat a GM during this event period, you can earn a Value Pack (15 Days)!
※ GMs will appear in the game at unscheduled times. There will be in-game notices and chat messages that announce their arrival.
Event II - 5-of-a-Kind is Sublime

Event Details
1. During the event period, play Yar! with other Adventurers or certain NPCs!
- For full details about Yar!, check out the [3/2 Patch Notes].
2. Regardless of whether you face Adventurers or NPCs, if you collect 5 identical cards (numerical or Ace), take a screenshot or a picture of it!
- Your family name should be within the photo! Otherwise your entry will not be valid.
You can take a screenshot or take a photo, as long as your family name is visible.
3. Post the screenshot/image to the forums! Go to [Community] - [Forums] - [News & Announcements] - [Events] - [5-of-a-Kind is Sublime]! Include the following information for your post:

Post Requirements - Include [Yar] in your title. - Attach the screenshot/image of having 5 of a kind (5 identical cards – numerical or Ace) to your post. - The image must include your family name in the image. |

※ The reward will be sent via in-game mail following the March 30th Maintenance (UTC+1).
※ The in-game mail will expire 2 weeks after it has been sent. Keep in mind that you cannot claim the item after the mail has expired.

- Your Family Name must be in the Yar 5-of-a-kind screenshot to be eligible for the reward.
- Pearl Abyss may use/modify screenshots/videos submitted for the event for promotional purposes.
- Pearl Abyss reserves the right to change or cancel the event depending on mitigating circumstances.
- Items given in this event may be family bound or character bound. Please check each item before using them as they may vary depending on the item. Items that are character bound cannot be moved or switched. There also may be restrictions on sale and use of items as well.
- Any changes to the event will be made on this page.
- Participating in the event using inappropriate methods will result in the cancellation or retrieval of your reward, as well as restrictions from the game.
- You must have created at least one character in your account before the rewards are sent in order to receive the event rewards.
