We're informing you of the latest update applied after the scheduled maintenance on Oct 17 (Thu).

Today's update brings the Guild Manor, Dekrogda's Artifact, simplification of some horse gear, and more.
We hope these help you embark on better adventures in the game, Adventurers!

 

GUILD MANOR

Guild Manor has been added. The Guild Manor was designed to provide "a space just for our guild," but with so many guilds in Black Desert, there were constraints like location and required land.

As a result, Guild Manor utilizes the manor of a guild member, allowing the invitation of guild members to the selected manor. We hope this is a meaningful update for adventurers who want a place to rest and chat with guild members, and for adventurers who like to decorate their manor.

You can enter the Guild Manor via the Enter Guild Manor button in the Guild window. Similar to the Traveler's Map, you will only be moved to the manor after the loading gauge has completely filled.

  • Added the "Guild Manor" feature, allowing a guild member's manor to be set as the guild's representative manor.
    • Adventurers with the Guild Master or Advisor position can designate one of the manors owned by a guild member as the "Guild Manor."
    • The designated manor can be freely used by guild members.




How to Set the Guild Manor
  • The Guild Master or an Advisor can set the guild manor by pressing Y/△ in the Guild Window.
    • In the Guild Manor Settings window, enter the Family Name of the member you wish to designate and specify the manor they own.
    • The Family name of the Guild Manor's owner will be displayed in the Guild Window.
  • The Guild Manor can be reset by the Guild Master or an Advisor in the same manner.
1. Select the "No guild manor has been set." message displayed in the Guild window.


2. Enter the Family name of the member you wish to designate for the guild manor, and select one of their manors to set as the Guild Manor.
 


 
How to Use Guild Manor
  • Any guild member can move to the Guild Manor from anywhere.
How to Enter
Enter using the "Guild Manor Teleport" button in the Guild Window.
(You can enter the Guild Manor from all areas, excluding some content and regions, with a set amount of time required for teleport.)
How to Exit Move to the character's previous location through the Guild Manor exit.
[Notes]
- You can only set rented-out manors as the guild manor. Manors with expired contracts cannot be set as the guild manor.
- You cannot press the Node/Conquest War participation button inside the Guild Manor.
- You will automatically exit the Guild Manor when using functions like Disconnect, Character Selection, or Escape.
- You cannot move to the Guild Manor in the following situations:
* While in certain locations such as Red Battlefield, Black Shrine, Battle Arena, and the Marni server
* When Node/Conquest War participation button is pressed to Yes.
* When your character is over-encumbered.
* When carrying Processing Trade Items in the character or mount inventory.

Lakiaro

The method for collecting Lakiaro with a hoe has been revised. After gathering Lakiaro in Kamasylvia and Drieghan, an additional Lakiaro will appear nearby, allowing for further discoveries similar to finding multiple ages-old wild ginseng. Starting with at least one Lakiaro, discoveries may continue until a Primitive Lakiaro is found.

The initial Lakiaro obtained will have a grade assigned randomly. Subsequent Lakiaro found will increase in grade with each discovery, potentially reaching the Primitive grade. (However, if a Primitive Lakiaro is found first, no additional Lakiaro will appear nearby due to the depletion of the earth’s energy.)

To align with the gathering minigame, we've increased the Gathering EXP from the Lakiaro minigame and added new exchange items for "Energy of Lakiaro" including "Millennial Wild Ginseng." Additionally, the probabilities and quantities for obtaining the Energy of Lakiaro have been adjusted.

Improved so that a new Lakiaro is found nearby after finishing Lakiaro gathering.

      • Clan Member → Guild Member
    • Accordingly, the description related to the clan is no longer displayed when creating a guild.

Green Grade Horse Gear Simplification

Green-grade horse gear, previously divided by type and equip effect, has been simplified.

These simplified horse gears were designed according to specific concepts, but most adventurers have been using the Storm gear. To allow adventurers to make more meaningful use of green-grade horse gear, the equip effects of horse gear have been integrated and "Movement Speed Decrease" has been removed.

We'll also be continuing our work to simplify items that need it in the future.

[Guild] Pledge of the Blood Usage Condition

Previous updates allowed for various authorities to be granted to guild members regardless of their position.
However, the use of [Guild] Pledge of the Blood was only granted to guild members with the rank of Guild Officer or higher, requiring rank changes.
Now, [Guild] Pledge of the Blood can be purchased, stored, and used freely if members have the "Learn/Use Guild Skills" authority granted, regardless of position.

MOUNT

  • Fixed the issue where the cooldown from overheating after firing cannons could be shortened by repeatedly mounting and unmounting.
    • If you unmount and remount cannons during the overheat cooldown, the cooldown will take longer than if you remain mounted.

NODE/CONQUEST WAR

Dekrogda Relic

A new siege weapon, the Dekrogda Relic, has been added to aid in Conquest War defense.
This relic envelops the entire castle in a barrier, preventing airborne entry.

Dekrogda Relics do not require separate installation or management,
and they will be automatically placed near the outer gate, inner gate, and command post when the Conquest War begins.

The barrier and the area they affect will remain intact until the relics are completely destroyed, and once destroyed, they will not regenerate.


As you can see, it is now impossible to enter the castle with a Mythical/Dream Horse if the barrier is deployed.
(* The barrier does not interfere with class skills like Lahn's air-walking skills.)

We have deliberated a lot on this matter.
This is because gameplay like the so-called "Arduanatt Plat" could be seen as a form of content.

Rather than blocking this method,
we have decided to allow the defensive side to use weapons (relics) to counter the offensive side's strategies, and the offensive side can destroy the relics as needed to expand their strategic options.

It may not be a perfect or entirely rational method, but we will closely monitor the changes in Conquest Wars with the Dekrogda Relic update.
Additionally, we will continue to monitor the combat dynamics of offensive and defensive battles to provide a more enjoyable Conquest War.

  • The Dekrogda Relic has been discovered.
    • This relic was dug up by the Old Moon Guild and it is said to continuously emit a pulsating wavelength.
      • According to research, this wavelength affects Mythical and Dream horses, preventing them from flying near them.
      • Castle Lords of each territory have made agreements with the Old Moon Guild to utilize Dekrogda Relics in defending their castles.
 
  • At the start of Conquest War, five Dekrogda Relics will appear surrounding the castle.
    • The five Dekrogda Relics form a barrier and an inner area around the castle until all are destroyed.
      • If Arduanatt or Mythical Arduanatt attempts to enter the barrier-surrounded castle using Wings of Wind, Wings of Freedom, or Wings of Swiftness, they will be immediately grounded due to the Dekrogda Relics' interference.
      • If Mythical Diné attempts to enter the barrier-surrounded castle using the Triple Jump skill, it will be immediately grounded due to the Dekrogda Relics' interference.
      • While the barrier is active, all airborne movement skills within the castle's inner area are similarly restricted.
    • Two Dekrogda Relics are placed near the Outer Gate, two near the Inner Gate, and one near the Command Post.
        • When the Outer Gate is destroyed, Dekrogda Relics near the Outer Gate can be attacked.
        • When the Inner Gate is destroyed, Dekrogda Relics near the Inner Gate and Command Post can be attacked.
          ※ The defensive guild will not be affected by Dekrogda Relic's effects during the Conquest War.

  • When all Dekrogda relics are destroyed, the barrier surrounding the castle will be removed.
Once the barrier is removed, Mythical and Dream horses will no longer be affected by the relics and can freely use airborne movement skills.

  • Added a UI to display participation records for Node/Conquest Wars.
    • You can find the current participation history of your guild via Guild - Node/Conquest War Status.

- Territory or node name
- Node/Conquest War result (victory, defeat)
※ Information on Command Posts Destroyed, Forts Destroyed, Mounts Killed, Guild Members Killed, and Death Count can be viewed as before.

- You can only check records of the current server where a Node/Conquest War is taking place.
You cannot check the ongoing war status of other servers, but you can access their past records.

We've also addressed the "position lag" that has troubled participants, ensuring a smoother experience for all adventurers.
