The very first winter of Black Desert Xbox has finally come! To celebrate this wonderful season, both the residents of the Black Desert world and Grandpa Cron have prepared some special gifts for Adventurers!

Event I - Grandpa Cron is coming to town!

During this winter season, Grandpa Cron will ride his flying sleigh around the skies of Velia, Heidel, Calpheon Altinova, Valencia and Grána to drop special gifts for adventurers.

Event Period

All Servers: December 11th After Maintenance ~ January 8th Before Maintenance

Event Details

During the period, Grandpa Cron will be dropping gifts all around the Black Desert world. These boxes will appear randomly across all servers. 

By opening the special gift, you can get the following items:

Event II - Build-A-Snowman

The Alchemist Fausten and his granddaughter Pauline want to celebrate the winter season by making a snowman. Help them out and they will show their appreciation by giving you some rewards!

Event Period

How to Participate

1. Accept the ‘[Event] A Snowman that Resembles Someone’ quest from Fausten located in Velia, Heidel, Calpheon, Altinova, Valencia, and Grána.
2. Give Bottle of River Water x1 or Bottle of Sea Water x3 to Fausten to receive an ‘[Event] Snowball.’
3. Accept a second quest from Fausten and give the ‘[Event] Snowball’ to Pauline. 
4. Pauline will give you a quest asking you to put the ‘[Event] Snowball’ onto the Snowman NPC.
5. Talk to Pauline to complete the quest chain and receive the following rewards: [Event] Grandpa Cron’s Gift

Build-A-Snowman Event Note

• The Snowman NPC will change its appearance up to 4 levels, depending on the number of [Event] Snowball added onto it.

 

Please Note:

• The event quest chain will reset at midnight (00:00 UTC) of each day.
• Depending on how many times the quest chain is completed, the snowman will advance to the next stage. There is a total of 4 stages.

• When Snowman has reached its final stage, it will have a hat and mittens.

• The Snowman NPC will be available in the relevant towns on all servers except for the Arsha Sever.
• Event quest NPCs will be gone after the event period ends.
• Reward items given out during event may or may not be bound, depending on each item. Also, some cannot be moved nor restored.

Event III - Let It Snow!

 

For whatever reason, Skill Instructors all over the Black Desert world have started to collect snowflakes. However, since they cannot leave their post, they have asked Adventurers to collect some in their stead!

All servers: December 11th After Maintenance ~ January 8th Before Maintenance

 

Event details

During the event period, you can obtain [Event] Snowflake through your challenge tab to exchange for valuable items. You can receive [Event] Snowflakes based on your in-game time below:
