Adventurers, a new update has been released which adds Shai’s Talents, Mystic Awakening and more! We’re also bringing Shakatu’s Seals, Red Battlefield changes and more with this update, so check the details below. 

Shai uses the power of music to overcome her demons, and the Mystic discovers the powers of the azure dragon, Banha, as the Shai discovers her talents and the Mystic awakens.

The Shai goes back to where it all began, at Caphras Cave, and once again runs into the darkness there. She barely escapes, and the ever loving paternal figure of Chief Valentine directs her to seek out music as a way to fight back the darkness. She eventually learns to play 3 instruments, the lute, the flute, and the Djembe. Find out more about Shai’s unique talents in our GM notes here: [Link]

The Mystic is rescued from drowning by the ancient world building dragon Banha. The dragon imbues the Mystic’s Cestus with intense power, and allows her to use the dragon in combat. Igor Bartali was once a famed adventurer himself, before settling down in Velia and running the small town. He traveled up and down the Black Desert world, looking for thrills and adventure. Unlike other adventurers, Igor Bartali kept an incredibly detailed journal of his travels, and you can find out more about his epic journey in the Adventure Log. 

Adventure Logs are a new set of quests that offer family wide bonuses for your character, including weight, AP, DP and more. Following in the footsteps of one of the original adventurers is a path that everyone should look to complete. 

In order to start following Igor Bartali on his mammoth adventure, you will need to be level 51 and have completed the Calpheon Main story. Once these prerequisites have been completed, you will be able to accept the quest ‘Adventure Log: Traces of a Great Adventurer’ from the Black Spirit. You will be able to access the adventure log any time by accessing the Adventure Log Bookshelf via the menu. 

We have made changes to the Shining Medal of Honor reward tables. Shining Medals of Honor can be obtained through Node Wars, and exchanging them can give you some amazing items. You can exchange them at Guild Managers across the Black Desert world for the following items:

We are adding Silver as a reward for Red Battlefield. Once a round of Red Battlefield has been completed, you will be rewarded with the usual Red Seals (which can be exchanged for Red Essence to make Red Battlefield Crystals), Combat EXP and an amount of silver depending on whether you win or lose.

Victory: Red Seal x5, Combat/Skill EXP, 6,000,000 silver
Defeat: Red Seal x1, Combat/Skill EXP, 4,000,000 silver

We are adding the Manufacture tab to the processing window. Although it’s use will be limited to crafting old moon anvils at the beginning, it will be expanded on in the future. To access manufacturing, open up the processing tab and scroll to the hammer icon. To create the Old Moon Anvil, you will need to place the following items into the tab:

10 x Old Moon Anticorrosive
20x Steel
2x Pure Vanadium Crystal
2x Polished Stone
15x Pure Mythril Crystal 

We have made some changes to the Hunting life skill. New huntable monsters have been added with the Lion, Lioness and Goats added to the lists of huntable creatures. You can also now get various ornaments to mark your kills in the wild. There is a chance to obtain mementos as hunting trophies can now drop, which can be added to your residence. These may also contain buffs that can be used by your characters. 

• Cloud Stomping skill has been improved 

-Increased the number of maximum hits for the skill ‘Cloud Stomping’
-Damage of Cloud stomping has been increased by around 10%.

• The Dark Knight will now gain +7.5% accuracy at level 60.

• Shakatu Seals have been added. These seals are given through attendance events, and contain various items including DUO Ogre Ring, Dandelion Weapon boxes and more!
• Fixed an issue where the storage of towns could not be used while wearing a trade pack.
• Fixed an issue where the number of mounts taken out from the stables and docks were displayed incorrectly.
• Fixed an issue where Wizards and Witches could not use their awakening skills in certain situations.
• Fixed an issue where the NPC, Schumann, from the Warrior’s awakening quest was always visible next to Goyen’s tomb. 
• Fixed an issue where the Gosphy Pet would not work correctly in certain situations.
