GM Notes [GM Note] Mirumok Destroyer Offin Awakens

Adventurers,

A new world/guild boss has awoken deep in the Mirumok Temple! Mirumok Destroyer Offin is an ancient weapon that absorbs energy from the spirits of the forest and delivers nothing but destruction to temple invaders. The Mirumok Destroyer Offin is piloted by the Watcher Offin Tett, an ancient construct made with pure Tett, a special element that only the Wizards of the Godr-Ayed can work with.

Where is Offin?

There are two ways to discover Mirumok Destroyer Offin.

Guild Boss: Mirumok Destroyer Offin/Watcher Offin Tett appears as a guild boss and can be picked up through the repeatable guild quest ‘[Boss Subjugation] Watcher of Mirumok Ruins’.

World Boss: Mirumok Destroyer Offin also appears as a World Boss and will be summoned at set times. You can find the Offin spawn times below.

Both Offins spawn in different locations, but they are both in the area of Mirumok Forest.

Taking Down Destroyer Offin

The ultimate goal in fighting the Mirumok Destroyer Offin is to take out the Watcher Offin Tett inside. During the fight, Watcher Offin Tett will be protected by a magic shield, so you will need to weaken that first before taking out the Watcher Offin Tett. There are 3 different ways to achieve this goal.

Method 1: Destroy 1 Root

For this method to work, you are going to need a lot of damage and coordination. First you get the Watcher Offin Tett to dismount the destroyer by destroying one root. Then you will need to switch to Matchlocks in order to destroy the shield before Watcher Offin Tett’s HP drops to 70%. If the shield is broken, Watcher Offin Tett will not get back inside the Destroyer, meaning you can then finish him off without worrying about the destroyer.

Method 2: Destroy 2 Roots

Similar to method 1, you will need to destroy the first root to make Watcher Offin Tett leave the destroyer. Then you will attack Watcher Offin Tett until his HP reaches 70%, at which point it will remount the destroyer. Then you will need to destroy another root to make the Watcher Offin Tett come out one more time. From there you attack it until Watcher Offin Tett reboards the destroyer at 30%. As 2 roots have been destroyed, the destroyer will be unable to draw enough energy to bring the shield back, so you can focus the destroyer to take out both Offin Tett and the Destroyer.

Method 3: Destroy 3 Roots

This method is identical to method 2, but once Offin Tett reboards the destroyer at 30%, you focus down the last remaining root to make Offin Tett unmount the destroyer one more time. You will be able to take him out relatively quickly from there.

Mirumok Destroyer Offin Attack Patterns

Sweep the Front

This is Mirumok Destroyer Offin’s basic attack. He lifts a root to sweep an area. Make sure you are not in the way of this mighty attack as it can really hurt.

Poison Gas

Mirumok Destroyer Offin lifts his body then drops down to release a deadly poison gas. This gas deals significant damage to even the hardiest of adventurers.

Rumbling Earth

Mirumok Destroyer Offin lifts up its body and slams it down to do a shockwave attack.

Ground Explosion

Mirumok Destroyer Offin lifts up its body and slams it down to cause the ground to explode and erupt with flames.

Shining Spear

Watcher Offin Tett teleports out of the shield and appears on top of the mount to throw a shining spear.

Meteor Strike

Mirumok Destroyer Offin moves its body up and down and summon a falling meteor. Move close to Offin to dodge this attack.

Watcher Offin Tett Attack Patterns

Clones

Watcher Offin Tett creates 2 clones of itself. You cannot damage the clones. The real Offin Tett glows yellow.

Teleport

Watcher Offin Tett teleports to different locations.

Slam

Watcher Offin Tett uses its fists as its basic attack to hit Adventurers.

Heavy Stomp

Watcher Offin Tett jumps up and stomps the ground to deal damage in the surrounding area.

Shining Spear

Watcher Offin Tett throws a shining spear that explodes and deals damage in an area after it hits the ground.

Energy Eruption

Watcher Offin Tett charges up energy in its body and causes an explosion. You’ll see dirt flying in the air around Watcher Offin Tett while this skill is active. Stay away from its body when this effect appears as it deals a large amount of damage.

Rewards

With Mirumok Destroyer Offin, there are 4 ways to obtain rewards.

The first is similar to other world bosses where you can just pick up items after ‘Watcher Offin Tett’ has been defeated. Rewards here are generally distributed based on the amount of damage dealt, but anyone who deals damage will be able to get something from the fight.

The second method is to be one of the top 30 adventurers that help to destroy the root of Mirumok Destroyer Offin. These 30 adventurers will find extra rewards when they come to loot the monster.

The third method is to be one of the top 30 Adventurers that help to destroy the Destroyer Offin’s shield. This method is trickier to be a part of since destroying the shield requires a matchlock, but getting rewards from this world boss is incredibly worthwhile.

The fourth method is to destroy the Roots of Offin.

The rarest item you can get from defeating Mirumok Destroyer Offin is the ‘Offin Tett’s Light Sealed Weapon’. You can get this by receiving and opening Offin Tett’s Light Sealed weapon box. This weapon has lower accuracy than a Kzarka weapon, but has higher AP. It also has an additional +2 Critical hit compared to Kzarka weapons +1 Attack/Casting Speed bonus.

The following items can also be obtained by defeating Mirumok Destroyer Offin.
