Changes are being made to the maximum amount of characters a Guild can use in their name. The maximum limit of characters used for Clan/Guild Names is changing. These changes are to unify the amount of characters used in Clan/Guild Names between both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to 15 characters.

Clans/Guilds with names that exceed the new limit will be presented with a Guild Name Change coupon and will be able to change their names to names within the limit (please note that guilds with names which end with _BDC will not be provided with an additional Guild Name Change coupon as it was provided during maintenance on March 4th). Any guild/clan which does not change their names before the maintenance on April 14th will have the final character of their guild name removed to fit the new limit.

Why is the number being changed?
We need to make these changes to allow guilds to declare war on each other. Unfortunately there are platform-specific technicalities and to make it so that all guilds can declare war on each other, we need to make this change.
