Capturing horses is easy! 

There are multiple modes of transportation in Black Desert like horses, wagons, ships, elephants, and camels.

However, the most important mode of transportation is the horse! We won’t stop you if you want to walk around without a horse, but you’ll be wasting a lot of time on the road.
Would you like to know where you can get a horse?
There are wild horses all around Black Desert. You can capture these wild horses and tame them.
So, what supplies do you think you’ll need to prepare before going out to catch wild horses?

You’ll need ropes and raw sugar.

You can get Capturing Ropes from the stable shop. You’ll probably need more than 1. 
If you’re catching horses for the first time, we recommend going out with 10 ropes.
One more thing, you need to make Lumps of Raw Sugar that horses like.
You can find out how to make Lumps of Raw Sugar by opening Crafting Notes!
Search for “raw sugar” in the window. Looks like you’ll need to process some materials by “Heating” them.

Buy Raw Sugar and Mineral Water from a food vendor then press the “Craft” button.
Find “Heating” at the top of the screen using the LB/RB buttons, select the materials, then push “Start” to start making Lumps of Raw Sugar.
 

Now if you have your ropes and Lumps of Raw Sugar ready, let’s go catch a horse.

Wild horses live in the fields of Black Desert. We’ve prepared plenty of supplies so let’s go try to catch one.

You see the wild horse over there?
Wild horses can run away if you get too close, so approach with caution. Use the rope to start the minigame shown below.
 

Aim then push the ‘RB’ button to start the mini game shown in the screen below.

You can approach the horse after getting passed the minigame and it gets a bridle.
Don’t let your guard down because you’ll need to beat another minigame where you need to spam the ‘B’ button. 
 

You’re allowed to approach the horse using the bridle by hitting the ‘B’ button until the red gauge fills up all the way to the right. 

Keep beating the minigame by hitting the ‘B’ button whenever it comes up to reach the horse. 
However, you can’t relax just yet. The horse can now attack you with its front legs!
This is when you take out the Lumps of Raw Sugar you made and feed it.
Now you can ride the tamed horse to the closest stable.

You can register the tamed horse in the stable.
Enter a name and register the horse to make it yours!
