Adventurers,

It has been almost one year since Black Desert launched on PlayStation 4, and in that time many adventurers have journeyed from the grassy fields of Balenos to the sandy dunes of Valencia. From the luscious forests of Kamasylvia, to the mountainous valleys of Drieghan. For those adventurers who have created so many memories, we thank you for continuing to support Black Desert.

But the adventure continues, and as part of our anniversary we are upgrading the bundles in the PlayStation store, to give new adventurers, who are about to begin their journey, a bundle that will allow these budding adventurers to get their footing in the Black Desert world.

These bundles will be completely new, and will replace the current bundles that are on sale now on July 22nd 2020.

To commemorate the launch of these new bundles, they will be available for up to 50% off immediately in the North American and Asian PlayStation stores. Due to external regulations, we will be unable to apply a 50% discount immediately, but instead will be giving adding extra pearls for those EU adventurers who purchase the bundle during the discount period.

Discount Period
July 22^nd until August 19^th

Note:

• Please note that for new bundle purchases made before our scheduled maintenance on July 22nd, bundle items will be sent to your in-game mail and will be available when you access the game after the maintenance.
• PlayStation store prices are set in USD, and the price that appears in different regions will depend on the current exchange rates applied by the PlayStation Store.
• For the EU region, the bonus pearls will be delivered to your mailbox during the maintenance of Aug 20, 2020.
• Adventurers who already play Black Desert will be able to purchase these new bundles, but will only be able to purchase once per account.
• Please refer to the store page on the console.playblackdesert.com website for item details after the new bundles have launched.

Those adventurers who play on Xbox One will need to wait a little bit longer, as the game packages for Xbox are scheduled to be changed and released in August. When this is ready, we will make a separate notice.

Q: Will it be possible to purchase these bundles again if I already own Black Desert?
A: Yes, you can purchase these new bundles even if you have purchased Black Desert before.

(We are currently investigating an issue where EU PS4 Adventurers are not able to purchase new bundles if they already own Black Desert for PS4.)

Q: Can I upgrade my package at a later date?
A: Unfortunately, there is no system in place to allow you to upgrade from the Traveler Edition to the Explorer Edition or above. You can however purchase each bundle exactly once. 

Q: Will I be be able to get the bonus Pearls if I purchase the EU package before July 22^nd?
A: No, the Pearl Bonus is available for the new packages only, and will not be given to those who purchase Black Desert before July 22^nd.

Q: Will Xbox One get these renewed bundles?
A: Yes, but not at the same time. As of right now, PS4 bundles will update on July 22^nd, and Xbox One packages will be updated sometime in August.
