Adventurers,

Following the May 12th (UTC+1) maintenance, we confirmed issues regarding certain Challenge Rewards (Charred Rock Fragments and the Ancient Spirit Dust rewards), the Attendance Rewards, as well as the ‘[Event] Listen to Lara's Request’ quest.

Specifically, we discovered that Adventurers who did not collect their ‘[Event] Charred Rock Fragments’ from the Challenge tab before the maintenance were no longer able to collect them after the maintenance. The amount of ‘[Event] Charred Rock Fragments’ that were not collected from the 1 hour Challenge Reward were equal to the extra amount of ‘[Event] Someone’s Letter’ item that Adventurers could receive in their Challenge tab.

Furthermore, if Adventurers did not collect the ‘Ancient Spirit Dust’ x25 reward via the Challenge tab prior to the May 12th maintenance that Adventurers were given through the April 28th (UTC+1) ‘[Event] Attendance Event for Everyone!’, those rewards were also not displayed in the Challenge tab after the maintenance. Access to Attendance and Special Attendance Rewards were also found to be restricted.

As soon as the issues were discovered, temporary measures were taken to prevent Adventurers from receiving ‘[Event] Someone’s Letter’ and the related event quests. However, prior to the restrictions, some Adventurers traded in the event item, proceeded with the quest, and earned rewards. To ensure equal opportunites in participating in the event, following the Friday May 14th (UTC+1) maintenance, Adventurers will be given up to '[Event] Someone's Letter' x14, which can be collected via mail after the May 14th (UTC+1) maintenance. 

Adventurers who didn’t do the quests prior to the restrictions will be able to do the quest a up to 14 times (receiving '[Event] Someone's Letter' x14 via mail). Adventurers who completed the quest prior to the restrictions can do the quest up to 14 times minus the amount of times they did the quest prior to the restrictions (receiving the difference in '[Event] Somone's Letter' via mail).

Resolution Process

Regarding Attendance and Special Attendance Rewards 

- Progress on Attendance/Special Attendance Rewards will not have changed after the Unscheduled Maintenance.

ex. If you received the Day 15 Attendance Reward prior to the May 12th (UTC+1) maintenance, after the May 14th (UTC+1) maintenance, you will be able to receive the Day 16th Attendance Reward

- Therefore, both the Attendance Reward Event and the Special Attendance Reward Event will be extended 48 hours.

Regarding the Ancient Spirit Dust x25 Challenge Reward 

- After the Unscheduled Maintenance, Adventurers affected by this issue will be able to collect them as per normal via the Challenge tab.

Regarding the [Event] Charred Rock Fragments Challenge Reward 

- After the Unscheduled Maintenance, Adventurers affected by this issue will be able to collect the 2 hour and 3 hour Challenge rewards as per normal via the Challenge tab.

Regarding the “No Greed, Just Good Deeds!” Event 

- After the Unscheduled Maintenance, the “No Greed, Just Good Deeds!” event period will be adjusted as follows:

- After the May 12th (UTC+1) maintenance and prior to the restrictions placed on the event quest, it was confirmed that some Adventurers traded in the event item, proceeded with the quest, and earned rewards.

In order to allow all Adventurers to be equal in event participation, following the May 14th (UTC+1) maintenance, all Adventurers will be able to do the event quest a maximum 14 times. Adventurers will be given up to '[Event] Someone's Letter' x14, which can be collected via mail after the May 14th (UTC+1) maintenance.

※ '[Event] Someone’s Letter' x2, which was two days worth of Challenge rewards from May 12th to May 14th, will also be exchanged into a bonus of '[Event] Charred Rock Fragment' x2.

We apologize for not accounting for the various issues that came up during the course of this update.

In the future, we will make sure to check in greater detail all aspects of the update to prevent a similar issue from happening again. We will also make sure to allow all Adventurers to participate in events equally and carry out the maintenances carefully.
