On June 26th 2021, we confirmed an issue where it was possible to repeatedly use web coupons through irregular usage of the account linking feature.

In relation to that, as announced in this notice, the web coupon redemption system and the redeeming of coupon items from in-game mail were temporarily disabled.

We have conducted a thorough investigation in order to check for accounts that have repeatedly used identical web coupons past their intended usage amounts through inappropriate methods. Accounts confirmed to have violated the Black Desert Operational Policy were restricted during maintenance on June 29^th (UTC+1) as follows.

- Restriction Criteria: Entering and claiming the contents of a web coupon an additional 3 times more than intended, on average gaining a profit of over 325,000,000,000 Silver

- Restriction Date: June 29th, 2021

- Violation: Bug Abuse

- Restriction Details: Permanent Restriction, Retrieval of Unfair Profits and Fine (that amounts to 3 times the profit gained in Silver)

- Restricted Accounts: 29

- Restriction Criteria: Entering and claiming the contents of a web coupon an additional 2 times more than intended

- Restriction Date: June 29th, 2021

- Violation: Bug Abuse (Minor)

- Restriction Details: 30 Days Restriction, Retrieval of Unfair Profits and Fine (that amounts to 3 times the profit gained in Silver)

- Restricted Accounts: 13

- Restriction Criteria: Entering and claiming the contents of a web coupon an additional 1 time more than intended

- Restriction Date: June 29th, 2021

- Violation: Bug Abuse (Minor)

- Restriction Details: 7 Days Restriction, Retrieval of Unfair Profits

- Restricted Accounts: 35

During the June 26th maintenance, we took additional measures to update our coupon redemption system in order to eliminate any possible abuse in the future. The coupon redemption system and the ability to redeem coupon items through in-game mail will be available again after the maintenance on June 29th.
