Shai is finally ready to take her first steps into the world of Black Desert and to celebrate we are running some great events for you all to enjoy.

Event Period

June 26th after maintenance ~ July 10th before maintenance

Event 1. The Ambition of Shai

Shai is ambitious in character, and to start her path right, the Black Spirit is offering one of three event quests which end with rewards related to your choice! Check out the details below. 

Event Notice :

• You can get and complete the only 1 quest among 3 quests.
• The events are available once per family during the event period.

Event 2. Traits of a Trickster

Get contribution points by helping Valentine of Florin, who suffers from the Shai’s tomfoolery.

When Shai first appeared in Florin, the villagers instantly fell in love with her. However her tomfoolery has left its mark on the village, and they need you to help out. 

How to participate?

• Get the “[Event] They took the Herb Bundles!” quest from the ‘Valentine’ NPC of Florin.
• Bring the “[Event] Ineffective Herb Sack” to Valentine. You can get “[Event] (quest item)” through gathering activity (WOOD CHOPPING/ COLLECTING RESIN & BLOOD / COLLECTING MEAT/ MINING).

Rewards

• ‘Village Certificate of Contribution(100)’ x 10

Event Notice:

• If you use the reward item ‘Village Certificate of Contribution(100)’, you can get 100 contribution points exp.
• “[Event] Ineffective Herb Sack” can be sold to NPC vendors for 10000 silver.
• “[Event] They took the Herb Bundles!” is available once per day per family during the event period.
• The event is reset everyday at 00:00 AM.
  
  

Event 3. “I was only borrowing it”

Explore the world to find Shai’s ‘borrowed’ goods! Collect keys from the rewards tab on your profile every day and search the world for Shai’s hidden treasure chests!

How to participate?

• Get the "[Event] Shiny Key” from the Challenge > Reward menu every day!
• Find the Treasure Chest spawned randomly on the field.
• Open the  Treasure Chest) by using  [Event] Shiny Key” and get the rewards.

Challenge(Playtime) Event Notice:

• The challenge quest can be completed once per family per day.
• The  Treasure Chest isn’t spawned in the Valencia area.
• Daily Event Quests will reset at the following times:
  - Europe: 12 AM UTC+0 / North America: 5 PM PDT
• Any rewards deleted cannot be recovered.
• The playtime calculation may be delayed if you change servers or enter the character selection window.
• Event period and details may be subject to change.
• These login rewards may only be collected during the event period. Login rewards those were not collected will not be recovered.

General Event Notice:

• Pearl Abyss reserves the right to change or cancel the event depending on mitigating circumstances 
• Participating in the event using inappropriate methods will result in a cancellation or retrieval of your reward and restriction from the game
• Violating any of the Terms of Service will result in cancellation/retrieval of your reward and restriction from the game
• Content not listed on this page follows the [Event Rules].
• Event prizes can only be received once per family and cannot be sent multiple times.
• Each event item may be bound differently (ie: by family or character), and these items cannot be transferred or restored due to this reason. Please refer to the in-game item description for details on whether the item is bound.
• You must have a character in your Black Desert Family to receive the reward items before they are sent.
