Maids and Butlers
Lets take a look at an Adventurers most loyal allies, Maids and Butlers! Once learning how to use Maids and Butlers, you will find that you will be using them more and more.
How to find you Maids
Maids can be checked through the through the ring menu (Default- LT+Dpad UP, right stick down) or through the Main Menu > Function > Maid/Butler List.
What do Maids and Butlers Do?
There are two type of Maids and Butlers, Transaction Maids and Butlers, and Storage Maids and Butlers. Maids and Butlers essentially help you to move items around the world of Black Desert.

After using a Maid/Butler, there is a 20 minute cooldown until they can be used again. Each Maid/Butler has their own unique cooldown time, so you can use multiple maids and butlers to move large quantities of goods around.
In addition to only being able to move 1 specific item at a time, there is a weight limit. This means that you will be able to move 100VT to the Central Market, or 100LT to the storage. For example, if you have 10,000 grapes, you will be able to move 100LT or 100VT of grapes to the Storage or the Central Market.
Storage Maids/Butlers can only move goods to the closest Main City Storage. For example, if you are in Olvia, the Storage Maid will move items to the Velia Storage and not the Olvia Storage.
How can I get Maids and Butlers?
You can obtain one Maid and One Butler from a quest available from the Black Spirit.
First of all you will need to reach level 51. From there you will be able to accept a quest that will allow you to obtain either a Transaction or Storage Maid/Butler through the quest ‘Black Spirit’s Special Gift (Butler)’.
At level 52 you will be able to obtain a Maid in much the same way.
Accept the quest ‘Black Spirit’s Special Gift (Maid)’ from the Black Spirit, and you will be given a choice between the Transaction and Storage Maid.
Once you have accepted and completed the quest, you will be able to find the Transaction/Storage maid items in your inventory (Main Menu > Inventory). Maids and Butlers can be accessed by all Characters in your family, but they will share cooldowns.
If you need more Maids and Butlers, you can purchase them from the Pearl Store by heading to Shop > Pearl Shop > Travel Aid > Maid/Butler.
