The Central Market is a system where Adventurers can sell certain items to other Adventurers! As long as you have Silver and items in your Central market warehouse, you will be able to buy and/or sell items from anywhere in the world of Black Desert through the Central Market found in your menu!
Managing the Central Market Warehouse
To purchase and sell items in the Central Market, you must have silver to purchase them, and need to have the items you want to sell, both stored in your warehouse.
You can access and manage your warehouse through the Central Market Director NPCs or via transaction maids/butlers. The Central Market directors can be found in the main cities & town of every territory.
When you access the Central Market by speaking to a Central Market Directer NPC or using a transaction maid/butler, you will be able to deposit Silver that you have in your storage/inventory direstly into the Central Market Warehouse as well as register items that are in your inventory.
▲ Access the Central Market by using a transaction maid/butler!
▲ You can also access the Central Market by talking to a Central Market Director NPC!
▲ You can buy and sell items through the Central Market!
Your personal warehouse for the Central Market is capped at 5,000 VT, but can be gradually expanded as your family fame increases.
You can move up to 100 VT of a single type of item to and from the warehouse at a time using a transaction maid/butler. The item description for each item has the warehouse volume of the item. Keep in mind that the warehouse volume for an item and its natural weight might not coincide.
If you use the Blessing of Kamasylve, your Central Market warehouse will increase by +2000VT and you will be able to move an additional +100VT through transaction maids/butlers.
You can check item VT weights by taking a look at the tool tips!

▲ If there was a pre-order for the item, then the sale will be immediate, depositing the Silver into your Central Market warehouse. If there was no pre-order, then the Siver will be deposited once a sale is made.
In addition, if your family fame increases, you can receive up to an additional 1.5% from sales. The amount of Pearl Items that you can sell per week is determined by your Family Fame.

※ Guidelines for items sold for more than 20 billion Silver and specific items
If an item with a base price of 20 billion Silver or a specific item is registered on the Central Market, a notification will be displayed at the top of the screen for all Adventurers to see.
- The ‘In Registration Queue’ will show items that are currently on the 15 minute cooldown upon registration. After the waiting time, the item will be sold if there are purchase registrations.
- You will also be able see the time (based on UTC+0) and value of the items listed in this category, and pressing the item in the list will take you to the page where you can bid for a new item.
- For these items, rather than a first come first serve basis, these items are sold to those who registered a purchase of said item (regardless of if it’s max price or not) randomly to ensure safer transaction processes.
- If the sale was not successful, it will return to the Central Market warehouse.
- You can only buy one item from the list below at a time, meaning you cannot place multiple purchase registrations for a single item with a particular enhancement.
- The items displayed in the category are either items worth 20 billion Silver OR specific items listed below. These items have a 15-minute cooldown upon registration before you can purchase them.

Purchasing Items
You spend the silver stored in your warehouse when you purchase items from the Central Market. Therefore, you need to have sufficient silver in your warehouse at all times if you want to make any purchase.Once you have enough silver in your warehouse, select the item you want to buy. After this, select the price at which you want to purchase the item, and then press the Buy button.
If the item is in stock, you’ll get it immediately (if there is 1 or more of it on the Central Market).
If the item is not in stock, then a pre-order for it will be placed. The Central Market will take your silver at this point.
When another Adventurer lists the item to be sold on the Central Market later, the Adventurer that placed their pre-order at the highest price will get it first. If there are multiple Adventurers that placed the highest pre-order at the same price, then the item is sold randomly.
